The Rebel Way has always been about more than just classes. It’s about community, creativity and being part of a collective.

We believe some of the best experiences are the ones that simply bring people together, which is why throughout the year we create completely free events for our community to perform, connect, experiment and have a bloody good time together.

One of our favourite things to do is host our Rebel Scratch Nights: informal, playful performance evenings where artists and students can get up, try something out and share work without the pressure of it needing to be polished or perfect. We’re always looking for people who fancy performing, whether it’s a finished act, something brand new or an idea you simply want to test in front of a supportive audience.

And they’re free to attend. Come along, watch some circus, support the performers and be part of the night.

For the rest of this year, we've got Halloween and Christmas Scratch Nights coming up, and most of our Scratch Nights don't end when the performances do. Where listed on the individual event, we'll have a DJ and a community party afterwards, so you can stay, have a dance, meet people and enjoy the space.
